Bridging Nations Foundation is a nonprofit, policy organization based in Washington, D.C. that promotes shared prosperity by developing international dialogue through collaboration and learning. We believe that technological innovation, particularly in areas of shared concern such as higher education and US-India-China relations, to promote economic cooperation and global shared prosperity.

The policy work of Bridging Nations focuses on international affairs, specifically India-China-US relations. Interns will have a chance to research policy, write policy briefs, contribute to research publications and plan & attend events. In addition, Asian Studies interns will write about their research findings for short articles, newsletters, website posts, etc.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have:

3.5 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) or higher

Very strong research and writing skills

Strong computer and organizational skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Applications

Ability to multi-task and remain organized

Graphic design/web design skills a plus

Comfortable assisting with and assuming responsibility for routine office tasks

Desired:

Mandarin language skills

Knowledge of broader South Asian politics and leadership, particularly India.

Start date and end date are flexible but we would like the intern to start in the middle of May, 2015. Hours are approximately 20 to 30 hours per week during office hours (Monday through Friday 9 am to 5:00 pm.
