Description:
We are looking for an intern (College level or higher) to help support and facilitate the B~STEM Project Foundations (www.bstemproject.org) growth through developing and implementing a fundraising campaign. Through the B~STEM Project, were looking to expand our efforts to help young girls and women in technology. This includes researching and identifying opportunities and writing. The programs have already been developed.PLEASE NOTE THAT STUDENT MUST LIVE IN U.S., WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS AT THIS TIME.
This is a 6-month 15-20 hours weekly non-paid position that begins immediately. Intern will work remotely.
Qualifications:
Our intern must be an independent worker, self-starter, forward thinker and dependable. Time management and organization is essential. We are looking for and intern who can come up with solutions and is confident at implementing ideas. Must be very pro-active and dedicated to helping develop B~STEM Project.- Ability to organize, build files, create databases in excel, etc.
- Great writing and analytical skills
- Ability to coordinate and design strategies
- Ability to collaborate effectively as a team member
- Ability to communicate at all levels with internal/external by phone and email
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, and Power Point)
- Excellent at advanced research utilizing the internet
- A positive attitude with good organizational, presentation and writing skills
- Pursuing a Bachelors Degree or equivalent education is a plus
