Conduct candidate research and identify potential candidates eligible for endorsement. Write press releases and conduct research/writing on public policy and legislative issues. Monitor and update social media pages.All of our internships can be done remotely. You can work from anywhere!
Qualifications:
Majoring in Communications, Public Relations, Political Science, or related field.Interest in progressive politics.

Our Democracy USA is a student-led grassroots political organization dedicated to electing progressive leaders up and down the ballot, nationwide. One of our main goals is to increase political involvement for traditionally underrepresented groups, such as young people, racial minorities, and the LGBTQ+ community. We only endorse progressive candidates that we believe will address some of the most pressing issues affecting our cities, states, and communities across the nation.The candidates we support are focused on issues such as improving access to affordable health care, strengthening the middle class, increasing funding for public education, ensuring everyone earns a living wage, and tackling climate change.
