Founded by a Harvard Business School and Bain / BCG alum, FoodieForAll is an online ordering platform and courier service that delivers food from the top restaurants such as Shake Shack, Momofuku, Balthazar, Nobu. We are currently active in Manhattan and looking to expand into other cities in the near future.

We are looking for an intern to focus mainly on the day-to-day operations of our business. If you have interest in startups, this is a unique opportunity to get high level of exposure / responsibility and learn execution at the same time since you will be playing an important role in running the daily operations and will be frequently interacting with the founder and the CEO.

As an Operations Intern, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily order flow of our business, from ensuring timeliness and accuracy of orders to delivering flawless service to our clients. You will be leading the delivery team. You will schedule the orders for our drivers and plan the optimal routes for them. You will maintain communication with the restaurants, the drivers and the customers and solve problems when they arise. You will also train delivery team members to properly follow the processes. Were looking for scrappy, creative, resourceful people who will do everything in their power to make our clients happy.

Responsibilities:
• Manage daily order flow: check in with vendors, handle client requests if necessary
• Develop close relationships with corporate customers and deliver excellent customer service
• Communicate clearly and efficiently with clients and vendors
• Solve logistical problems in a fast-paced environment to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of our orders
• Actively seek to improve daily operations processes and procedures
• Map and develop a training manual for the new processes
• Train, audit and ensure new procedures are being followed

Qualifications:

Requirements / Experience:
• Customer service mentality
• Background in hospitality industry is a plus
• Flawless communication, both verbal and written
• Comfortable with database, web and spreadsheet applications
• Excitement and passion for food
• Extreme attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills.
• Startup experience is a plus
• Recent grad or current student.
• Creative solutions driven mindset, with a getting things done attitude

• Energy! We’re seeking very energetic, outgoing individuals. You should be hungry to succeed, organized and self-disciplined. You also need to be very comfortable spending most of your time out of the office visiting clients and training our operations people.
