We are a 501c3 nonprofit that aids veterans in need of professional attire and career path. You will not find an internship as fun or as rewarding as this! All of our past interns have gone on to acquire jobs. This internship will give you invaluable experience and look fantastic on your resume! With our internship, you will learn and acquire a diversified skill-set.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
-High School Diploma
-Must be currently enrolled in a College or University (part-time or full-time)
-Must be a Junior or Senior
-Must have a current GPA of 3.5 or higher
-Must have strong work ethic
-Excellent Verbal and Written Skills
-Friendly and Outgoing
-Must be available at least 3 days per week
-Must be able to meet deadlines
-Must be willing to use personal lap-top or cell phone if needed
-Must have a car
-Strong leadership skills
-Excellent Organizational Skills
-Extreme Attention to Detail
-In Connecticut Area-Our foundation will give college credit and will fill out any necessary paper work for your university. Feedback letter as well as recommendation letter upon completion.
Onsite internship.
No hourly pay.Duties:
-Assisting Executive Director with the following:
-All projects and proposals
-Email Marketing
-Customer Service on phone and through email
-Public Relations
-Community Events
-Fundraising
-Filing and administrative duties
-Organizing and sorting through inventory
-Transporting inventory to storage facility
-Research
-Social Media Marketing
