Her journey began back in Montreal where she took high school courses in photography, video, radio and television. Her love affair with the visual arts continued throughout college where she specialized in communications – particularly video and design studies.
During her 3 years at the University of Montreal, Maude took every course that pertained to photography and video, and under the mentorship of a gifted teacher, gained valuable industry experience.
In 2005 she graduated with a BA and started her own communications business using photography, video, web and graphic design to promote small businesses.
In 2008, after moving to Ontario on a one-year contract, Maude, somewhat accidentally, fell into a very successful and rewarding career.
