Description:
ORS Interns will be responsible for research & data collection related to current programs serving at-risk students, researching & collecting data for future grant opportunities as outlined by ORS staff, and development of internal organizational documents (i.e. Policy & Procedure Manuals). All projects & assignments will be clearly outlined by ORS administrative staff. Interns will also have opportunities for professional mentoring and development.
Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications: Associates degree or higher in education, business, criminal justice or a related field; a minimum of 1 year work experience; excellent written and oral presentation skills; the ability to manage details; experience in research & data collection; a passion for educational outreach and working with youth; and the ability to work independently in a results-oriented environment.Minimum qualifications: The UB project will accept applications reflecting less than an Associate’s degree if at least 60 college credits have been completed. In addition, less than 1 year of work experience with demonstration of exceptional alternative experiences or additional training.
